If I was to guess, I would say that the matter was teleported but the Consciousness was not.

I had to look that up but yes. For instance, you could teleport matter and its field, let's call that. It's memory. However, you would struggle to teleport systemic memory, let's call that life.
You can teleport the state but not the transition. Life is the transition, not the state.

I read about weird stuff regarding Googles Quantum computer too, and it was in connection to the mass UAP sightings earlier this year...
